The Story Behind the Cottage
As a city girl, my dream was to create a little slice of the countryside right in the middle of Denver, Colorado. I purchased a cozy 1940’s cottage, transforming it into my very own urban farm. Even with limited space, I found that living sustainably and embracing the farm life is entirely possible.
Life on the Urban Farm
My backyard is a vibrant mini farm with 14 chickens, button quails, two bee hives, and a variety of garden boxes. I also share my home with two cats and two dogs, completing the charm of my idyllic setup. This experience has taught me that you don’t need acres of land to connect with nature and enjoy the benefits of fresh produce.
